The KP Vina Aerospace Components Manufacturing Plant is a strategic investment project of KP Aerospace Vietnam, a member of KP Aero Industries (South Korea) - a company with many years of experience in the machining, assembly, and manufacturing of aerostructures. Located in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park with a total investment of USD 20 million, the project is the Group's first manufacturing facility outside South Korea, aiming to establish a strategic aerospace supply chain in Asia and enhance its competitiveness in the global market.
With the objective of developing a manufacturing facility that meets the stringent standards of the aerospace industry, the Owner selected DINCO E&C as the Design & Build General Contractor to ensure project schedule, quality, and consistency throughout the implementation process. The Design & Build model enables the project to be closely managed from design through construction, optimizing investment costs, minimizing risks, and shortening the time required to put the factory into operation, thereby creating a solid foundation for KP Aerospace Vietnam's production expansion strategy in Vietnam.
As a project in the aerospace industry, the facility was implemented in accordance with stringent requirements for precision, construction quality, and international technical standards. The factory was designed to support the assembly and manufacturing of high-precision aerostructures for Boeing's commercial aircraft programs, including the B787 Dreamliner and B737 MAX. At the same time, the project was planned with the capability to expand into precision machining and surface treatment in subsequent phases, contributing to the development of Vietnam's aerospace components manufacturing supply chain.
Upon commencing operations, the factory serves as an important manufacturing hub within the global network of KP Aero Industries, supplying aerospace components to international customers such as Boeing and Korean Air. The project not only reflects the Owner's long-term investment vision but also contributes to positioning Da Nang as a new destination for the aerospace and high-tech industries in the region.
